- I fell in love with the idea of simple movements can represent character. The movements within animals can show expressions and moods. The central idea of my concentration became the idea that even subtle movements can exemplify character.
- Starting from my first sculptures of animals, I was able to express emotions and ideas through the nature of animals. My inspiration came from nature itself. When you look within nature, you can see the many animals and their daily habits. Whether their lives are slow or fast, there are external qualities to every life. Animals may not be able to express themselves through words and signals, but through their movements and motions can show the individuality of each animal. The movements in the sculptures themselves give character and liveliness to each.
